Message de Jean-Marc Dewaele (en anglais):

Could I ask you to participate in this fun research on how people are able to infer the emotional state of their interlocutor? You will be asked to guess the emotion and rate the intensity displayed by an actress in a couple of short video-recordings in English. There is also a short questionnaire about linguistic background and personality.

We are looking for both native and non-native speakers of English.
It’s a joint research of mine with a visiting Belgian MA student, Pernelle Lorette, from the University of Utrecht.
